Alexis Mac Allister received the opportunity to catch up with his former Brighton teammates in Liverpool’s recent wins over the Seagulls.
He made a return to the Amex Stadium during the Reds’ 3-2 win over Brighton in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
A funny clip has now emerged showing how Curtis Jones reacted to seeing Mac Allister share a sweet moment with a member of the Seagulls’ club staff.The Argentine midfielder can be seen sharing an embrace with a female staffer before he goes out onto the pitch, something which Jones notices.
The English midfielder tells the Brighton staff member that ‘You can have him back,’ in some cheeky banter to lighten up the mood.Of course, Jones made this comment as a jest and does not want Mac Allister to be sold by Liverpool at all.
The young Englishman has performed well in recent weeks and has five goal contributions (one goal, four assists) in 12 appearances so far in this campaign.
